The Mangosteen Chopper M1P is an innovative e‑chopper/e‑scooter with a top speed of 45 km/h that is approved for road use. It combines state‑of‑the‑art electric mobility, eco‑friendly riding and a striking design, and can be ridden with a car driver’s license (Class B) or a moped/scooter license (Class AM).

What Do You Need Before Riding?
The M1P is classified as an electric moped in the L1e-B category. Before using it on public roads, the owner must obtain a valid German moped insurance policy and an annual insurance license plate (“Versicherungskennzeichen”).

Delivery & Handover
- The EU Certificate of Conformity is supplied with the vehicle.
- All available vehicle documents are included in the delivery.

Important Notice
The registration and insurance procedure described above applies only to Germany. Although the M1P is supplied with a valid EU Certificate of Conformity (CoC), registration, licensing, insurance and road-use requirements may vary between EU countries.
If you are located in another EU country, please consult your local registration authority, road traffic authority or insurance provider before purchasing to confirm the applicable registration procedure and required documentation. You may also contact us in advance to obtain the CoC and other available vehicle documents for verification.
Mangosteen does not provide vehicle registration or insurance application services. The customer is responsible for arranging the required registration and insurance, obtaining the appropriate licence plate and paying all related costs. Please also confirm the applicable driving-licence, helmet and local road-use requirements before riding.

📦 Order Cancellation & Return Policy
1. Order Not Yet Shipped — Free Cancellation
If your order has not yet been shipped, you may cancel it free of charge. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can process the cancellation before dispatch.
2. Order Already Shipped — Refusal Required
Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to cancel it directly. If you no longer wish to receive the order, please refuse the package when the carrier attempts delivery.
A €150 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
3. Returns After the Product Has Been Used
Used products may still be eligible for return depending on their condition and level of use.
If the vehicle has been ridden for more than 30 km, the following charges will apply:
- €150 return shipping fee
- €300 vehicle inspection and depreciation fee
The final refund amount may also depend on the actual condition of the returned vehicle and any additional damage or excessive wear.
4. Registered Vehicles
If the M1P has already been officially registered, we are unable to accept the vehicle for return.
📦 Damaged Package or Product Upon Delivery
If your package arrives damaged, there is no need to worry. Please take clear photos of:
- The damaged outer packaging
- Any visible damage to the product
- The shipping label, if possible
Please send the photos to our customer service email as soon as possible after receiving the package.
If the damage is confirmed to have occurred during transportation, we will provide the necessary replacement parts free of charge.

We offer a limited warranty of 12-18 months covering all Mangosteen electric bicycles. We warrant that all components and parts are free from defects in materials, quality, and workmanship. If any such problems are found during the warranty period, we will provide replacement parts free of charge. The warranty automatically takes effect from the date you receive your electric bicycle (no registration required) and terminates immediately upon the expiration of the warranty period.
12 Month Warranty: accessories and spare parts: stem, handlebar, headset, brakes (excluding brake pads), bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, kickstand, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, frame, fork, motor, battery, throttle, LCD display, wiring harness, front light, rear light, and charger.

Yes, for safety reasons, we do not recommend that you lift the speed limit. If any accident occurs, it is your own responsibility.

We accept returns of your product before vehicle registration. Please note that if you have ridden more than 30 KM, we will charge a vehicle inspection and depreciation fee of €300 plus return shipping costs. If you have ridden less than 30 KM, we will only charge a return shipping fee of €150.
